Congratulations to Nate Lilleodden on receiving the Exceptional Service Award of Excellence
The firm would like to congratulate Nate Lilleodden on being awarded the Exceptional Service Award of Excellence by the Greater Wayzata Area Chamber of Commerce. The information below is quoted from the Chamber’s website. Congratulations Nate!
“The Chamber, in collaboration with Business & Estate Advisers and the Lakeshore Weekly News, launched the Exceptional Service Award of Excellence in 2009 to recognize and award businesses that demonstrate outstanding customer service. This quarter the ESA was awarded to Nate Lilleodden of Copeland Buhl & Company.
The complexity of the tax law is enough to have most of our heads spinning. Yet there is one individual right here in town who can break this down and deliver it in a way that the average person can understand and make intelligent decisions. In addition, the business owner can strategize and work within the rules to bring maximum benefit to their employees, as well as their personal setting.
There are a lot of CPAs and accountants that are very talented, many in tax reporting. This is a matter of reporting what occurred and filing the returns. There are few who are talented in tax advising and planning. This is getting out in front of the tax issues and being creative, yet always complying with the rules.
Our local CPA Nate Lilleodden, recently named Managing Partner at Copeland Buhl and Company, was commended for aiding in the complex coordination of a successful business transition to the next generation. In this setting, Nate took this intricate business transition plan and broke it into some simple, easy-to-understand components to help this family business transition to its fourth generation.
Nate is deserving of this award because of his true ability to bring the complex tax into simple terms in a way to better serve, not only his clients, but the community at large as witnessed in his activities with the Wayzata Chamber and the Wayzata Rotary Club. Congratulations Nate!”
