With close to 4 decades of accounting and tax experience, Denny has been with the firm since 1983. His career journey began in 1969, when he received his accounting degree from the University of South Dakota and began working with Touche and Ross (now part of the firm Deloite and Touche). He stayed with the firm for 9 years before joining Copeland Buhl. Denny is a conscientious tax planner and advisor. He is an active participant in the Minneapolis Certified Public Accountants’ Tax Roundtable to discuss the impact of state and federal tax law changes. In his free time, he likes to travel (his favorite spots are Vancouver and Key West) and read W.E.B. Griffin to his pet cockatiel. His preferred midnight snack is ice cream.
